Scholarship Endowment to Honor Reger

Friends and colleagues of Executive Vice President Mike Reger are creating a scholarship endowment to recognize his longtime service to South Dakota State University. Dr. Reger announced his retirement, effective March 5, after more than 30 years at SDSU.

A former student and a current faculty member have each pledged $25,000 to jumpstart the effort, offering their financial commitments in the form of a 1-to-1 challenge match to others. If other gifts are received to match each $25,000 pledge, it would create a scholarship endowment of at least $100,000. The endowment has been created at the SDSU Foundation. Gifts may be made by mail to the SDSU Foundation or online.
